Jo Ruggieri, Ph.D., RPP: Primary Teacher
& Co-Director |

Mary
Jo Ruggieri is the Primary Teacher and Co-Director of Carolina
Polarity Institute of Energetic Studies. She is also founder
and director of the Columbus Polarity Center and Columbus
Polarity Therapy Institute, an educational center for natural healing
therapies and energetic bodywork. She teaches alternative medicine
seminars to first year medical students at the Ohio State University
Medical School, and Polarity Therapy and Integrative Medicine at Hocking
Technical College and the University of Utah. Mary Jo's specialties
include alternative medicine, complementary therapies, myofascial therapy,
kundalini yoga, and reflexology. She has had a private polarity
practice for 12 years and is frequently invited to speak at the local
and national level. Mary Jo served as an assistant professor for
25 years at Ohio State University and was innovative in the integration
of mind-body techniques and alternative medicine for athletic training.
She is a two time Olympic Coach of the United States Swim Team
at the Games in Seoul, Korea and in Barcelona, Spain. |

| Renée Weidel, APP, CST, CHt: Founder & Business
Manager |

Renée Weidel is the
Founder and Business Manager of the Carolina Polarity Institute
of Energetic Studies. She received her Polarity training
at the Polarity Realization Institute in Massachusetts and also trained
in the Herbert Benson, M.D. program: the Relaxation Response at
Harvard Medical School. This is her third year as a Noetic Practitioner,
participating with a Duke Cardiac Medical Research Team on the MANTRA
Study Project. She has over 1,000 hours in integrative
health training. Renée has been active nationally to protect
the “Right to Choose” Polarity Therapy as a clinically proven Complementary
& Alternative Medicine (CAM) Therapy option. Renée serves
as President of the Board of Directors for the Health & Wellness
Foundation, Inc., a non-profit corporation for Preventive Practices
& Integrative Medicine. Synergetics®
is her polarity practice in Greensboro. Prior to her seven years
in healthcare, she was in corporate financial service and administrative
management for over twenty years.

William Morrow, Certified Rolfer®: Faculty |
|
“Bill” Morrow
currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Health & Wellness
Foundation, Inc. He teaches anatomy at Carolina Polarity Institute
of Energetic Studies. A High Point University graduate with
a degree in Psychology, he completed postgraduate training as a Rolfer
at the Rolf Institute® in Boulder, Colorado. Bill is an avid student
of anatomy in body movement education and function. He sees that
working to relieving the cause of symptoms is an integral part of a
holistic approach for balancing each individual’s unique structure.
His outdoor activities and weight training have allowed him insight
into typical patterns of injury and trauma associated with these and
other sports activities. Once a month Bill presents, free to the public,
a Rolfing®, Structural Integration and Movement Education class at his
office, Carolina Rolfing Associates. He has practiced bodywork
in Greensboro for 5 years. Bill resides in Greensboro, North Carolina
with his wife and two daughters. |
