ASSOCIATE POLARITY PRACTITIONER (APP) CERTIFICATION program

Co-Director of Carolina Polarity Institute of Energetic Studies.

APP Program
involves a six level program: Friday evening, Saturday (all day), & Sunday (all day) and six Tuesday Evening Supervised Clinicals during the program. 

160 Hour APP Training
meets requirements for Associate Polarity Practitioner training under the umbrella of Columbus Polarity Institute with Mary Jo Ruggeri, PhD, RPP, as Co-Director and Primary Teacher, and in accordance with American Polarity Therapy Association standards.  This course is an American Polarity Therapy Association  (APTA) Approved Training.

 

Carolina Polarity Institute of Energetic Studies is a North Carolina Proprietary School licensed by the State Board of Community Colleges.  This school is the first Energy-based Proprietary School to be licensed in North Carolina.

All Polarity Classes are taught by Registered Polarity Practitioners and assisted by Associate Polarity Practitioners.  Anatomy is taught by a Specialized Faculty who is a (LMBT) Certified Rolfer®.

POLARITY THERAPY

A rapidly growing profession, which comes under the guidance of the American Polarity Therapy Association.  APTA registers and sets Standards for Practice for the profession of Polarity Therapy.   As a governing body, APTA has a Code of Ethics and an elected member board.  

Polarity Therapy
founded by Dr. Randolph Stone, D.O., D.C., N.D., is an ongoing and dynamic balancing of life energy which enhances the quality of health and well-being.  Through a series of pressure and reflex points, various types of rocks and energetic touch, exercises, and healthful nutrition, Polarity Therapy develops a system of balance through a mind and body connection.

  • Theory and Basic Principles of Polarity Therapy

  • Anatomy and Physiology (energy-based and orthodox)

  • Energetic Evaluation and Assessment Skills

  • Energetic Touch

  • Lifestyle Resources through Communication and Facilitation

  • Elemental Nutrition

  • Polarity Yoga (Stretches)

  • Personal Polarity Experience (Sessions with an RPP)

  • Supervised Clinicals

Entrance Requirements:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of Age.

  • Applicants must have a personal interview.

  • Applicants must be a high school graduate or hold a GED.

  • Applicants must be in good physical, mental, and emotional health and must submit a letter from a healthcare professional stating that they are physically, mentally and emotionally able to give and receive Energetic Touch with no adversity to his/her wellbeing.

  • Applicants must submit a general letter of recommendation concerning his/her character and experience from a non-family member.

     Applicants must agree to adhere to the following policies in class:

  • No jewelry of any kind is allowed in class;  and                  

  • No perfumes, oils, or scented products are allowed in class. 

  • Fingernails must be kept short (up to the ends of fingers only).

Personal Polarity Experience                           (Price Varies depending on practitioner, Greensboro price  - $75 per session.)

Receiving 5 sessions from a Registered Polarity Practitioner - RPP. This can be done anytime over the course of the seven month educational period.
